CE Network

The France Foundation has developed and continues to expand its Continuing Education (CE) Network. The France Foundation CE Network is comprised of accredited institutions and organizations with whom The France Foundation partners with to develop and distribute educational activities to medical professionals. The CE Network is dedicated to two purposes:

(1) Promoting the awareness and adoption of the quality principles established by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).

(2) Promoting mutual understanding and supportive links among the network members, educators, industry, and others who are interested in quality educational activities for medical professionals

By promoting this awareness and linkage among our CE Network partners, The France Foundation will help improve the CE Network's educational activities. Given the recent discussion and introduction of new accountability mechanisms in education by the ACCME, there exists an increased need for this type of collaboration and exchange of information. In addition to the avenue for exchange of knowledge that comes with being a part of our network, members receive access to certain resources provided by the network membership.

The France Foundation assists in the support of or directly provides the following for our CE Network members:

• Planning and presentation services for educational activities.
  
• A regularly distributed newsletter highlighting accomplishments and ideas on the development of quality educational activities
  
• Fully integrated Internet-based planning documents and conferencing between The France Foundation and network members
  
• Materials for the measurement of outcomes and researching the impact of educational activities
