Educational Activity Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this course, the participant should be able to:

  • Perform a differential diagnosis of ITP and identify the patients most likely to benefit from therapy
  • Identify historical therapeutic strategies for ITP management and their relevant health risks and side effects
  • Demonstrate knowledge of emerging therapies for ITP and their associated clinical evidence
  • Utilize patient assessment and education tools to track therapeutic progress and improve compliance in ITP patients
  • Develop an individualized management plan for each ITP patient based on history, risk factors and platelet status
